Jackson Pollock

Found this documentary on youtube. I don't think we've watched this before in class.. It's quite interesting, but the duration is rather... long. (no offense to fans of Jackson Pollock, but I think his voice sounds like donald duck in this video. no, i dont dislike him. i suddenly like his style.)

I like the way his style is so fluid and dynamic. I am considering such a technique for my coursework, cos I feel like going expressive with the paint... maybe for the background, to create some texture on the canvas; maybe it's a bit too flat and controlled so much so that it becomes too static.
